How long does flooring installation take?
Most single-floor projects finish in 1–3 days once materials are on site. Timing depends on subfloor condition, room count, and patterns like herringbone or chevron.
Should I refinish my hardwood or replace it?
If thickness allows, sanding and refinishing may be the best value. If boards are damaged, warped, or you want a different species/format, replacement is recommended.
What is staircase refacing?
Refacing upgrades visible components—treads, risers, nosing, stringers, newel posts, railings, and spindles—without rebuilding the entire structure.
Do you control dust when sanding floors or stairs?
Yes. We use dust containment and seal work areas where feasible. We also offer low-VOC finishes for improved indoor air quality.
Can you help with squeaky floors or loose railings?
We address common subfloor squeaks, add fasteners or adhesives as needed, and secure railings to meet safety standards.
Do condos require special underlayment?
Many buildings require specific STC/IIC underlayment. We can supply condo-friendly products and coordinate with management for approval.
