Bathroom Projects · ·Updated Oct 28, 2025 · Woodbridge, ON

Project 82: 2.5-week Woodbridge bathroom renovation with dry and wet separation, glossy white floor tiles, LED lighting, and a frameless shower enclosure.

Project #82 — Woodbridge, Ontario

Quick Facts

  • Location: Woodbridge (Project 82)
  • Duration: ~2.5 weeks
  • Service Provided: Bathroom Renovation
  • Project Area: ~95 sq ft

This Woodbridge homeowner wanted a dry and wet separated bathroom — functional, bright, and easy to maintain.
Reno Mumu reconfigured the layout to divide the vanity area from the shower zone using a full-height glass partition, creating a cleaner and more open look.
The design combined smooth white porcelain floor tiles, frameless glass, and neutral finishes for a balanced, modern atmosphere.

Design Goals

  1. Effective dry–wet zoning with frameless glass partition and watertight transitions.
  2. Smooth white flooring to maximize light reflection and visual spaciousness.
  3. Minimalist vanity area with built-in LED mirror and quartz surface.
  4. Walk-in shower with linear drain, handheld sprayer, and built-in niche.
  5. Improved ventilation and durable waterproofing for daily comfort.

Materials & Specifications

Floor & Wall Finishes

  • 24×48 glossy white porcelain floor tiles, rectified, low grout line for seamless continuity.
  • Wall tiles: 12×24 matte porcelain, light beige tone for contrast.
  • Waterproofing: cement backer + liquid membrane; reinforced corners and drain slope.
  • Color-matched silicone joints at all intersections.

Vanity & Mirror

  • 48″ floating vanity with quartz countertop and undermount sink.
  • Rectangular LED mirror cabinet with anti-fog system and dual lighting modes.
  • Storage shelves and soft-close hinges integrated into the mirror unit.

  • Linear stainless-steel drain, centered slope for even water flow.
  • Shower fixtures in brushed-nickel finish, thermostatic valve set.
  • Built-in wall niche with quartz sill for storage and easy cleaning.

  • Tile alignment: large-format white tiles required continuous surface precision; joints kept under 2 mm.
  • Ventilation efficiency: replaced old duct with short rigid pipe for improved airflow.
  • Visual harmony: glass partition designed frameless to preserve openness between zones.
